Acrylic & Turpentine
I’m Emilia Koziol, and I’m a Connecticut based artist and writer. I work in both traditional and digital art, and I’ve been professionally creating art for six years, in a myriad of mediums. I prefer to work digitally and with acrylic paints, but I have experience with everything from oil pastels to lino printing to ceramics. Throughout my professional art career so far, I have been lucky enough to win two awards, and create art for dozens of clients.
Recently, I have been focusing on my writing in addition to my art, and was lucky enough to be published for the first time in 2023. I enjoy writing poetry that is odd, and a bit macabre, and in my longer writing, I like to tackle the fantastical and supernatural.
When I’m not staying up far too late creating art or writing, I love listening to and creating music, knitting, and baking.

Jack, Cat
Jack is my boss. He is in charge of overseeing my art (getting in the way), making helpful edits to my work (stepping in the paint), and making sure my work station stays clean (attempting to drink the dirty paint water). He is six years old, and has been helpful his whole life.
Jack enjoys carpets, flowers, and sneaking out to hunt. His favorite foods are corn on the cob, pumpkin, and cold cans of soup. When he’s not begging for pets and shedding on the carpet he loves so much, he likes to play with tiny, rolled up pipe cleaners.
He doesn’t often answer emails, but any questions directed towards him can also be sent through my contact information, and I will see that he receives your messages.
